Robot Entertainment and Microsoft Game Studios are proud to announce that Age of Empires III: The Complete Collection is now available for download from the Microsoft Games for Windows Live: Games on Demand service.

The compatibility patch released is now available for download from this website. You can download it by selecting your game on the left, then Downloads and then Game Updates.

ESO and all Age of Empires III online services are operational at this time.
ESO is currently down for extended maintenance. We do not have a timeframe for when all services will be back up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience. Keep checking this page for any updates.

ESO Downtime 11/7/2009
The company that hosts the servers for ESO and related environments will be moving our servers to a new location on Saturday, November 7th. The servers will be down from 12:00am to 8:00am CST (GMT -5) that morning. We will keep you updated as to the progress of the server move. Age of Empires III and Age of Mythology will be affected.

ESO Downtime 8/25/2009
Routine maintenance will be taking place on the servers that host ESO Tuesday, 8/25/2009. We expect the servers to be down from 7am CST to 12 noon CST (GMT -5). The Age of Empires III and Age of Mythology online servers will be down while they undergo maintenance and Robot Entertainment thanks you for your patience as we work to improve your online experience.
Update: Maintenance has been completed and all ESO Services are operational.

Robot Launches New Blogs
Robot Entertainment has rolled out a couple of new Blogs on their home page, RobotEntertainment.com.
Life at Robot talks about Dave Pottinger's project to build a Lego Robot Logo, complete with pictures showing how much more work will go in to it than expected.
"In terms of color, the official Robot logo is on a black background. We seem to have a lot of those already, though. We have this cool sign on the building. We have another one in our lobby. And one day, this door mat showed up. At this rate, 19 more black Robot logos will show up next week. We needed some other color, so we went with the white version."
In Welcome to Art-bot Central, Art Director Dave Kubalak introduces all of the artists and goes into details about his home office/art studio.

New AOE III Patches
Robot Entertainment is proud to announce that we are releasing new patches for all three Age of Empires 3 products. Vanilla, The War Chiefs, and The Asian Dynasties will have new patches released later this week to address balance issues, exploits and bugs, as well as improve performance when using navies. Check out the patch notes below:

Age of Empires on Nokia N-Gage
Glu and Microsoft got together and put out Age of Empires for the N-Gage platform. It looks to be pretty cool, you can check it out at their website.

Hello everyone.
My name is Aloysius and I'm the Community Manager for Robot Entertainment. We are going to be handling Age of Empires 3 customer support, community, forums and the online multiplayer component, ESO.
There are no planned changes in the level of support for Age of Empires 3. You'll still be able to buy the game in stores and come home and play online with your friends and the hundreds of thousands of other players!

Upcoming Forum Changes
In preparation of the studio's closure, we are going to be consolidating the forums on the site. The biggest change will come to the separate forums for each title. After the consolidation there will only be one Supremacy, Deathmatch, and Treaty forum instead of the current three.
On January 14th we will be starting the processes by making the "soon to disappear" forums read only. They will stay that way until January 21, giving everyone a week to archive posts.
